What started as a dream of one student got transferred as a shared dream of two, took shape in the form of a name, of a vision, got transferred to all forty of us, is what is known as Disha, Center for Inspiring Entrepreneur Leadership, which started in the form of a conventional e-cell with a vision to foster an entrepreneurial ecosystem on campus, has today morphed into a full-fledged centre of excellence, got recognition at the highest level as the fastest growing e-cell in the country by the apex body of e-cells (NEN), is today well on its way of realising a larger dream, i.e. to foster an entrepreneurial ecosystem on campus and the country at large. As a further recognition of their efforts, Disha-CIEL was felicitated at the global conference of e-cells, organised by IIT-Bombay under the aegis of NEN, where Disha-CIEL was bestowed with the honour of being a mature e-cell, one amongst only seven in the country (including the likes of IIMs, IITs & BITS-Pilani) in just seven months of its existence; a feat never achieved before. Today Disha is a thriving student body with partnerships and support from some of the biggest names in industry and academia.
